Privacy Policy
Last updated September 29, 2026. The short version: we collect only what you type into the signup form, we use it to run the early beta, and we don’t sell it.
What we collect
When you join the early beta, we collect what you enter in the form:
- your name
- your email address
- the project you’d like help with, if you choose to tell us
Like most websites, our hosting provider also automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We don’t use it to identify you.
How we use it
- to email you about HomeHats, including when early access opens and when we launch
- to understand what kinds of projects people want help with, so we can build a better product
- to keep the site secure and working
We won’t use your details to send you anything unrelated to HomeHats.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your name, email or project details.
- We don’t share your contact information with contractors. When the product launches, you’ll choose whether to contact a contractor yourself.
- We don’t run advertising trackers on this site.
Who handles your data for us
We use a small number of service providers to run the site. They process data only on our behalf:
- Supabase stores the signup list in a database hosted in the United States.
- Vercel hosts the website and the signup form.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your signup details, including after the beta ends, until you ask us to delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to show you what we have about you, correct it, or delete it. Email support@homehats.com from the address you signed up with and we’ll take care of it. You can also reply “unsubscribe” to any email from us.
Children
HomeHats is for adults who own or manage a home. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant, we’ll email you.
